When is the library open?

The Library is open Tuesday – Friday 10 am -5 pm and Saturday  10 am - 3 pm

What are the checkout times for library materials?

Books, magazines, books on CD, and music check out for 3 weeks, and DVDs check out for one week. All items have 2 automatic renewals as long as the item does not have a pending hold on it.  Special collection items such as items in our library of things have individual checkout times depending upon the item.

Can I still get my books if I do not want to come into the building?

Yes the library offers curbside pick up at the staff door T – F  by appointment

Can I still place holds and have them sent to a different library for pickup?

Yes you can  place holds and pick them up at any Coastline library

Are there late fees?

No, the Library no longer charges late fees for any item.  Fees are only charged for lost or damaged items.

Can I call and have the staff pull books for me?

This service is only available to our homebound patrons,  and patrons with special circumstances at this time

Are there other services available at the library?

The Library has many online and in-person services. You can access services from the website such as the library catalog ,  databases, and language programs.  You can access our YouTube channel (Port Orford library kids), come in and use our public computers, use the copier or fax, check out items, AND SO MUCH MORE!
